First Christian Church of Seminole > Homeless Ministry

On the first Sunday of every month, FCCS volunteers team with volunteers from other local churches to join in helping those in need. Each week approximately 150 to 200 homeless men and women of St. Petersburg are provided a hot home cooked meal and other amenities. Volunteers shop, cook, prepare the meal, and transport food and donations to St. Vincent D’Pauls.

It costs approximately $1 per person to create the meals.  Our ministry will gratefully accept any donations! We are in need of financial donations, gently used clothing (mostly mens), toiletry items, work shoes, sneakers,  and new underwear and socks. All clothing donations can be left at the in the FCCS lobby by the mailboxes with Steve’s name marked on them.
