First Christian Church of Seminole > Our Mission
The First Christian Church of Seminole exists to introduce people to the love of Christ, instruct people in the teachings of Christ, and involve people in ministry for Christ.
How we plan to accomplish that mission:
INTRODUCE PEOPLE TO THE LOVE OF CHRIST
- By pursuing evangelism/outreach for Jesus Christ in every aspect of our ministry
- By creating a community of believers that is welcoming and friendly to all people
- By providing excellent facilities that are attractive to all people
- By striving to improve the quality of every aspect of worship, teaching, and preaching for adults, youth and children
- By promoting our partnership with missionaries to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
INSTRUCT PEOPLE IN THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST
- By creating an environment where the congregation and leadership are devoted to daily prayer and Bible study
- By creating an environment where everyone belongs to a small group that provides a caring place
- By providing for the spiritual development of our children and youth in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment
- By consistently upholding the absolutes of God’s Word in our community
INVOLVE PEOPLE IN MINISTRY FOR CHRIST
- By creating an awareness among all believers to recognize their God-given gifts and responsibilities
- By creating an environment in which all individuals are encouraged to use their God-given gifts to build up the Body in service of Christ.
