First Christian Church of Seminole > Wycliffe Bible Translators

Mike and Karen Osborn joined Wycliffe Bible Translators in February 2010 where Mike will serve as Director of Partnership Ministries for JAARS. The Osborns are former members of First Christian Church of Seminole. Mike served as elder and missions chairman during their years at the Seminole church. They entered full-time Christian service in 1993. They have 3 children: Curtis, Amber and Alicia. After serving with New Mission Systems International since January 2001, Mike plans to continue as Field Advisor for Haitian Ministries with New Missions.

JAARS is the training, transportation, technical support service, logistics, construction and maintenance ministry partner with Wycliffe Bible Translators. JAARS provides the backbone that enables Bible Translators to focus on their calling of providing God’s word to every people group in their heart language. Wycliffe’s ‘Vision 2025′ initiative is aimed at beginning bible translation in every known language by the year 2025. Mike serves in a leadership capacity from the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, North Carolina, and he and Karen are part of those chosen to help accomplish VISION 2025.
