YOUNG ADULT CHRISTIANS HANGING TOGETHER

The acronym says it all.  Y.A.C.H.T. is all about young adults getting together and learning more about Christ and how we can live God-centered lives in a comfortable setting.  We are passionate about seeing young adults learn and grow in their faith and begin sharing God’s love with others.

The Y.A.C.H.T. ministry offers the young adult age group a chance to hang out and continue nurturing our relationship with Jesus Christ through one of the most faith-challenging times in our lives. Our get-togethers are laid back in a God-centered atmosphere. There is always fun and laughter as we eat, pray, and play!

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT)

Typical Y.A.C.H.T. activities include:

  • fellowship and prayer with peers
  • accountability groups (men and women focus groups)
  • food, snacks, refreshments
  • devotions and videos relevant to young adult issues
  • Wii, Xbox, Karaoke, bowling, camp fires, Bible trivia fun & other games
  • community and church outreach
  • group events (like Rock-The-Universe, Night of Joy, and Winter Jam)
